Concept
G.B Urban Complex is a typical urban regeneration project. The biggest challenge of this project is that an existing water channel break the site, and the major concept for this project is “ Zippering the neighbourhood”. We designed concrete panels to cover the water channel, and plant the trees to be a neighbourhood park.One of the benefits for this concept is that the original water channel become a pathway for people, and this pathway also become a connection not only for space but also the lives broke by the original water channel.
